Catherine Burton
Managing Partner
Catherine Burton is the founder of Endpoint Environmental LLC. Catherine has been working with ence in geographic information systems, photogrammetric and remote sensing technologies since 1999. She serves on the board of Bay Area Automated Mapping Association (BAAMA) and editor of The BAAMA Journal. She has worked with commercial, non-profit, federal, state and local government agencies and has had clients in the environmental, natural resources, defense, and educational industries. She served as a founding oranizer of WebMapSocial Meetup Group in Silicon Valley. She served on the Program Committee for Where 2.0 (San Jose, CA. 2009 and 2010) and Google Technology Users Group Campout (Mountain View, CA. 2009). She has presented at ten industry-related conferences. Her work has been featured in ten publications including the 2008 issue of NASA Spinoff, NASA Tech News, GeoIntelligence Magazine, and Science News. Catherine earned both her BA in geography with a focus in cartography and geographic information systems and MA in geography with a focus in remote sensing image processing from San Francisco State University.
